ROCK ISLAND – Today, thirteen elected officials from Henry and Whiteside Counties announced their endorsement of Congresswoman Cheri Bustos (IL-17) for re-election.
The officials all emphasized Cheri’s understanding of local issues and her consistent partnership at the federal level to improve the lives of hardworking Illinois families.
“Cheri has always been there whenever I have had a question or comment to listen to me and try to help me or get me to a place that could,” said Henry County Board Member John Sovanski.
“From health care, to infrastructure, to economic development, Cheri understands what rural communities need,” Gabrielle Palmer, Rock Falls Alderwoman, said. “She has the skills and experience required to help us drive growth and bring valuable resources to the places where we work and live.”
