Bustos raises $341,700 primarily from small dollar contributions
Moline, IL - Today, Rep. Cheri Bustos' Congressional campaign announced a successful first quarter Federal Election Commission report. During the quarter, which ran from January 1 - March 31, the campaign raised more than $341,000 and ended with a nearly $1.7 million cash on hand total.
With more than 96 percent of her individual contributions under $100 and an average individual donation of $26.63, Cheri Bustos’ campaign continues to be fueled by small dollar, grassroots supporters.
“Cheri Bustos has earned strong grassroots support because she has a proven record of getting real results for the hardworking families she serves,” said Denise Mousouris, Finance Director for the Bustos campaign. “With broad support and an average individual contribution of less than $27, Cheri is well positioned to continue standing up for the heartland values that our nation needs now more than ever.”
