Bustos raises more than $500,000 in 2nd quarter of 2017
Moline, IL - Today, Rep. Cheri Bustos' Congressional campaign announced a successful second quarter Federal Election Commission report. During the quarter, which ran from April 1 - June 30, the campaign raised more than $500,000 and ended with more than $2 million cash on hand.
With more than 90 percent of her individual contributions under $50 and a median contribution of just $10, Cheri Bustos’ campaign continues to be fueled by small dollar, grassroots supporters.
“Hardworking families are standing with Cheri Bustos because she has a proven record of fighting to protect jobs, lower costs and deliver real results in the heartland,” said Denise Mousouris, Finance Director for the Bustos campaign. “Donald Trump won the 17th District last year, so we have to be prepared for whatever Washington Republicans attack Cheri with. But, because of her broad base of support, Cheri is well prepared to defend this seat next year so she can continue working to build a better future for all of our families.”
