Nearly 97 percent of donations to Bustos campaign are under $200

Moline, IL - Today, Cheri Bustos' Congressional campaign announced a very successful third quarter Federal Election Commission report, powered by a broad and diverse coalition of grassroots supporters.

During the quarter, which ran from July 1-Sept. 30, the campaign raised more than $444,000 and ended with a more than $1.1 million cash on hand total.

With nearly 97 percent of the contributions under $200 and an average donation of $42, the campaign continues to be driven by small dollar, grassroots supporters.

“Working families are standing with Cheri Bustos because she has a proven record of fighting for jobs and growing our economy,” Caroline Pratt, finance director for the Bustos campaign, said. “With broad grassroots support coming from across the 17th District, Congresswoman Bustos is well prepared to continue getting results for Illinoisans.”
