With a nearly $2.4 million cash on hand total, small dollar donors are helping Bustos prepare for the 2018 election
Moline, IL - Today, Rep. Cheri Bustos' Congressional campaign announced a successful third quarter Federal Election Commission report. During the quarter, which ran from July 1 - September 30, the campaign raised $430,000 and ended with a cash on hand total of nearly $2.4 million.
With an average individual contribution of $50, Congresswoman Bustos’ campaign continues to be fueled by hardworking men and women who are rejecting the failed agenda of Washington Republicans.
“Illinoisans are worried that Washington Republicans are using their majority to raise the cost of health care and give tax cuts to the ultra-wealthy at the expense of middle-class families,” said Denise Mousouris, Finance Director for the Bustos Campaign. “With a proven record of getting real results, Congresswoman Bustos has proven herself to be an effective voice for the heartland. Our campaign is seeing such strong support because hardworking families would much rather have her continue fighting for them than be represented by another rubberstamp for Paul Ryan’s failed agenda.”
